The key word during the development of the COYOTE V3 was simplicity.
The goal was not to create a machine full of adjustments, but a machine that could easily adapt to any working style with minimal intervention.
You can adjust:
-
the needle protrusion from the grip, thanks to the engraved markings that allow you to set it even when the machine is switched off;
-
the voltage, more than enough to handle any needle and cartridge configuration;
-
the machine’s hit through the screw located on the back of the frame.
This screw does not only modify the stroke, but also changes the geometry of the mechanism and therefore the impact force, allowing the machine’s behavior to be adapted to your personal tattooing style.
During the development of the Coyote 2, I realized that the spring generated a different impact depending on the resistance of the cartridge, compromising much of the fine-tuning work.
Instead of adding more springs or making the system more complex, I chose the opposite approach: simplification.
The goal was to achieve a stronger hit without increasing vibrations.
For this reason, the machine’s return system is based on an O-ring. The package includes two O-rings with different hardness levels: one softer and one stiffer, both replaceable in just a few seconds.
Removing the spring made the mechanism simpler and more reliable, while allowing the use of very large strokes. The standard setup exceeds 5 mm, while maintaining precision, control, and virtually no vibrations.
The impact point also works on a dedicated O-ring, completely eliminating ink splatter that can occur with metal-to-metal impact.
The frame is fully hollowed out internally to reduce weight, while the grip is machined from solid aluminum to maintain the ideal center of gravity.
Lightweight, yet perfectly balanced.
Compatible with most cartridge systems.
